Three questions immediately spring to mind.
1) What is the caretaker taking care of? A school. An office building. An apartment block?
2) Why is he wearing a pinafore?
3) What is the difference between a pinafore and an apron?
As i listened, answers to the first two questions soon became clear. As you would expect in setting up such a scenario, background information like this is somewhat essential in order to give the plot substance. Only kidding. The information is, of course, completely unnecessary. However, it is not long before you get to the main action, so to speak. The caretaker hasn’t been taking as much care as he should have been, and shoddy work has but one consequence. i won’t go into too much detail, as i wouldn’t want to spoil anything for you, but the guy gets quite a ticking off in the build up to the main event, which is pretty impressive. i’ve never heard such howling!
So what is the difference between a pinafore and an apron. If anybody knows and can be bothered to drop me a comment, i’d love to know.
